If you receive an error regarding locked resources or locked records that prevents you from completing an update or task, you can resolve the issue in V6.
The following is an example of a Deployment Platform error:
Because the resource was locked, the update for Alspec 3.8 could not proceed.
The issue can be resolved as follows:
Open your V6 program and select Database -> Release Locked Records.
This is not the only method for resolving the issue. If the preceding procedure is unsuccessful, you can execute the following SQL query. Use this method only when no users are currently working in V6:

DELETE FROM LOCKING_TABLE;
SELECT @@ROWCOUNT AS RowsDeleted;
-- COMMIT TRANSACTION;
-- ROLLBACK TRANSACTION;
Execute the query, review the number of affected rows, and then execute either the COMMIT or ROLLBACK statement.
