Enhanced Purchase Order Number Display

The Purchase Order number in the Supplier Portal Delivery Pipeline now includes the P/O prefix for improved consistency and identification.

Session stability and overnight Supplier update reliability improvement

🔧 Issue Identified

In certain scenarios, a Dealer user’s browser would enter sleep mode overnight while a Supplier update or background workflow was in progress. 

Previously :

• User sessions were automatically released after 24 hours of inactivity.
• If a browser went to sleep during that window, the session could expire.
• Upon waking, the user could experience:
  • A disconnected live session.
  • A lost update state.
  • A need to manually refresh or re-authenticate.
  • Interrupted Supplier update workflows.

This was particularly noticeable during long-running supplier configuration updates or dashboard monitoring.

✅ What we have changed

Implemented a Keep Alive mechanism to maintain live session integrity.

Improvements :

• Active sessions are now protected from unintended expiration
• A background keepalive signal prevents the session from being released during valid inactivity (for example, browser sleep).
• Session release logic now distinguishes between:
  • True abandonment.
  • Passive inactivity due to device sleep.
• Live Supplier update streams will no longer disconnect unexpectedly overnight.

🧠Technical summary (high-level)

• Session timeout previously enforced a strict 24-hour inactivity release.
• Browser sleep could prevent activity pings from reaching the server.
• Sessions could expire even though the user had not logged out.
• The new keepalive mechanism ensures:
  • Periodic server acknowledgement.
  • Safe reconnection on wake.
  • Reduced accidental session termination.

🎯Impact

• Improved reliability for Dealer users.
• No more overnight live session drops.
• Reduced support incidents related to “random logout” or disconnected supplier updates.
• Better stability for long-running workflows.

🚀 Result

Dealer sessions are now resilient to browser sleep and overnight inactivity, ensuring continuous Supplier update monitoring without unintended disconnects.

Dealership Price Adjustment Date Display Improvements

• The last modified date for a new dealership price adjustment now displays the date and time it was saved.
• When editing a dealership price adjustment, the last modified date displays the date and time it was saved.
• Existing data now displays correctly.

Support Tickets – Event monitoring and tenant isolation fix

Overview

Corrected an issue in a specific Support Tickets event-monitoring scenario where incoming events were not fully validated before being applied to an open support ticket view.

🐞 Root cause

• In one specific location within Support Tickets, the event monitor did not verify a matching Quote ID before applying incoming update events.
• As a result, under very specific timing conditions, event data could be incorrectly applied to an open support ticket.

• In rare cases, this could occur across tenants.

   

⚠️ Conditions required

This issue could occur only when all of the following were true:

• A user had a Support Tickets page open for a specific quote
• At the same time, another user created a new support ticket for a different quote
• The event arrived while the page was actively open.

This combination made the issue extremely rare and difficult to reproduce.

📉 Impact

• Incorrect ticket data could temporarily appear in the UI.
• No persistent data corruption occurred.
• Refreshing the page immediately corrected the issue.

• One anomalous bug report may be related, though no definitive link has been established.

   

✅ Resolution

• Event handling now strictly validates both Tenant and Quote Id before applying updates.
• Events that do not match the active context are safely ignored.

• This ensures support ticket updates are applied only to the correct quote and tenant.

   

🎯 Benefits

• Prevents incorrect event application.
• Eliminates cross-tenant and cross-quote contamination.
• Reduces unnecessary network and UI noise
• Improves robustness of real-time support ticket updates.

SSI Pricing Breakdown Enhancement

A defect was identified where SSI pricing breakdowns were only functioning for Shipping items. This issue has been resolved.

Fix implemented

• Corrected the logic that restricted SSI pricing breakdowns to Shipping items only.
• SSI pricing breakdowns now calculate and display correctly for all item types.

License Server fixes

This release includes fixes to the License Server functionality. These updates address issues introduced by enhancements delivered in 2025 and ensure more reliable onboarding and login experiences for tenants and users.

Fixed Product Type Attributes for Nested Frames

Fixed an issue where the Product type drop-down on the Defaults tab of the quote did not show attributes for nested frames. This was fixed in frame config version 2.2.3.

Enhanced Custom Item Description Length

We have increased the maximum character limit for the Description field on Custom Items from its previous limit to 100 characters.
